St Olympia Orthodox Church - Week of 12 15 2024

Dear Faithful,

Today we celebrated the Conception of the Most Holy Theotokos-- nine months (minus a day) before her Nativity on September 8. For an explanation of today's feast (which predates and is distinct from the Catholic feast of the Immaculate Conception), and MORE, please see the attached bulletin (thank you, Peggy).

The Nativity of our Lord is quickly approaching. May we prepare ourselves, like the Theotokos, to receive the Lord with quiet humility, thanksgiving, and joy.
