St Olympia Orthodox Church - Week of 6 29 2025

Dear Faithful,

Blessed Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.

St. John's words may sound oppressive, but they lead us to freedom. "He must increase, but I must decrease." It's not about ME. And thank God! We do not need to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We don't even need to carry around the weight of our own sins. What we need is to acknowledge our sins before God and "REPENT, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near."

Attached is the bulletin (thank you, Peggy) along with our calendar for July.

In honor of the recent Glorification of Matushka Olga, Archbishop Michael wanted me to remind you of our Diocesan Ministry of Blessed Matushka Olga. This ministry has been active for years already, serving women and families in crisis.

Have a blessed week!

Your servant in Christ,

Fr Gregory
