Dear Faithful,

Blessed Feast of the Annunciation!

According to St. Ephraim the Syrian, “Mary conceived our Lord by [way of] her ear.”
She heard the Word of God.
She responded, “Let it be to me according to your Word.”
And in that moment, the eternal Word took flesh in her womb,
beginning the nine-month journey that leads us to the cave in Bethlehem on December 25.

May we, too, hear the Word of God and keep it! 

May it continue to grow in us.

Vesperal Liturgy for the Feast is today (Tuesday) at 8am.

Attached is the service schedule for April, which includes Holy Week and Pascha. This Wednesday is the exact midway point between the start of the fast and Pascha!

May the Precious and Life-Giving Cross strengthen you on your Lenten journey.
