St Olympia Orthodox Church - Week of 1 19 2025

Dear Faithful,

Christ is Baptized! Tomorrow is the Leavetaking of the glorious Feast of Theophany and the Feast day of St. Nina, Enlightener of Georgia.

In Georgia, 4 out of 5 people are Orthodox Christians to this day thanks to St. Nina who sanctified the nation with the following prayer: “O Lord, send down Thy mercy upon this nation...that all nations may glorify Thee alone, the One True God, through Thy Son, Jesus Christ.” May this be our prayer as well.

Attached is another great bulletin (thank you, Peggy).

Here are some additional reminders:

- Fr. Gregory is still collecting parishioner information to better keep track of Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. Please fill out this form on behalf of yourself and your family.

- It's House Blessing Season! You can sign up online here or at the church
.
- Please fill out this pledge form or the hard copy form at the church and return to Fr. Gregory or our Assistant Treasurer, Jonathan Jones.

- Come to the Dosteovsky book study, beginning Thursday, January 30 at 5:45pm at the Church. We will be discussing Notes from the Underground from various perspectives. Contact Joseph (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you are interested or have questions.

Yours in Christ,
Fr. Gregory
