St Olympia Orthodox Church - Week of 1 12 2025

Dear Faithful,

Christ is Baptized! In the Jordan! Happy Feast of Theophany to all.

You do not want to overlook the attached bulletin (thank you, Peggy!), especially the article entitled, "Theophany: The Feast of Humility." There is no depth of humility to which God is not ready to sink for our sakes. He is constantly lowering Himself. May this be an example and an encouragement to us.

Here are some additional reminders:
- We will have an altar server retreat this Saturday (10am - 1pm) at St. Olympia's. Please RSVP to me so we can order enough food (we'll have pizza arrive at 12:30).

- It's House Blessing Season! You can sign up online here or at the church.

- Please fill out this pledge form or the hard copy form at the church and return to me or our Assistant Treasurer, Jonathan Jones. As you will see, there are many ways to contribute to the mission. Ask yourself, "What is the best I can give based on all that God has given me?"

May this Theophany season be filled with light!
